Abstract
Immediate loading implants (ILI) have emerged as a promising solution for dental rehabilitation, offering advantages such as reduced treatment time and enhanced patient comfort. This literature review examines the concept of immediate loading implants, their loading protocols, patient selection criteria, primary stability considerations, bone quality and quantity assessments, surgical techniques, implant design and positioning strategies, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of immediate implant placement. Key findings indicate that achieving optimal primary stability is crucial for successful ILI procedures, with various surgical techniques and implant modifications aimed at enhancing stability.Overall, success with ILI depends on a comprehensive consideration of multiple factors, with further research needed to standardize protocols and improve outcomes.
