Abstract

Oral mucosal lesions in paediatric patients encompass a spectrum of conditions that can present diagnostic challenges and necessitate tailored management approaches. This review provides an in-depth exploration of one such common oral mucosal lesions encountered in children, Aphthous ulcer including their etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnostic considerations, and management strategies. By enhancing understanding of the lesion, healthcare professionals can optimize care delivery and promote oral health in paediatric populations.
