Abstract
Introduction:
The preservation of tooth structure and functional rehabilitation must be balanced in the treatment of complex crown fractures. Modern conservative methods that preserve biological integrity while restoring aesthetic and function include fragment reattachment, tooth relocation and fragment modification techniques.
Aim:
The purpose of this presentation is to illustrate two different conservative management strategies: coronal fragment reattachment and management of extrusive luxation by repositioning and splinting.
Methods:
In every instance clinical and radiographic evaluation was performed to ascertain the degree of damage. Root canal therapy with fiber reinforced stabilization, atraumatic repositioning and splinting and modern bonding methods were among the treatment protocols. To evaluate healing. Function and aesthetic results, follow up assessments were carried out.
Results:
The clinical and radiological results in all two instances were satisfactory. Periodontal healing, aesthetic integration and functional stability were all accomplished without major issues. The integrity of the teeth was maintained and there were no pathological alterations according to follow up evaluations.
Conclusions:
In complex crown fractures, conservative therapy techniques provide reliable and successful results. For long-term success while maintaining natural tooth structure, choosing the right procedure based on fracture patten and clinical presentation is essential.
Clinical significance:
Conservative methods for treating complex crown fractures, including as fragment reattachment, repositioning and reinforcing techniques offer minimally invasive options that guarantee the best possible aesthetics, functional rehabilitation and tooth structure preservation.
